Use Olives in Salad is a fantastic idea. If you have olives like me and want to add those healthy olives in a tasty and delicious dish then try this salad recipe. This salad can be served as a snack or as a side dish to any special meal. Olive Salad can also be used in a healthy and weightless diet. It will be healthy and nutritional food if you want it in breakfast. It is an easy and quick recipe and you don’t need to cook anything.
What needed for olive salad:
You only need the salad seasonal vegetables which you like in salad.
Ingredients:
Cured and brined olives 1 cup
Cabbage diced1 cup
Onion 1 medium size or half cup chopped
Tomato 2 medium size diced
Cucumber chopped 1 cup
Carrot 1 cup diced
Mint and parsley chopped half cup
Salt 1/2 tablespoon you may reduce ratio according to your taste.
If you like spicy salad you can use
Green chili 1 piece chopped or any sauce
Optional ingredients:
Olive oil 1 to 2 tablespoon
Yogurt or cream 1 cup
Or any other vegetable you like, can be added in salad
Direction to use Olives in Salad
Collect all ingredients. Wash all vegetables and drain the water. Take 1 cup olives from brine. Take out it’s seeds.
Cut all vegetables into small cubes. I don’t Peel off the fresh cucumber. You can remove if you don’t like.
Peel off the Onions and dice. If it tastes bitter wash well in water. Drain the water.
Mix all vegetables in a bowl. Add seasoning. Your fresh and crunchy salad is ready.
I prepared this salad plate today for my kids as a snack. They saw me cutting the vegetables and wait impatiently for it to ready. They liked it very much. For kids, I didn’t add salt and green chili. You can also adjust it according to the demand.
