Fish belongs to seafood family. It is liked and used in all over the world. People of every region love to use it in cold weather because it’s hot influence to heal the body. It contains best nutrients like Omega 3 and more minerals in it. Today I am sharing the spicy fried fish recipe with you. I hope you will love to follow it’s easy steps. Doctors advised to use it twice at least in a week. There are many ways to use it but lets experience spicy fried fish today.
Time needed for fried spicy fish:
Washing time 35 minutes
Merination time at least.
1 to 2 hours
Frying time 30 minutes around.
Ingredients:
Ingredients to finish smell:
Salt 1 tablespoon for washing 1 tablespoon for merination
Vinegar 3 tablespoon for washing
Ingredients for Fish Merination:
Fish 1 kg
Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
Red chili powder half tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
Red chili flakes 1 tablespoon
Spice powder half tablespoon
Herb carom seeds 1 pinch
You may use oregano
Frying item oil
Coating ingredients (optional)
All purpose flour 1 cup
Bread crumbs 1 cup
salt and half tablespoon spice to coat
Direction of Spicy Fried Fish Recipe
1st step: Cutting and washing:
Take 1 kg fish. Cut into pieces. Preferably 1 inch in width is good for frying or any style.
If it smells then take salt and vinegar and mix well.
Place aside for 10 to 30 minutes.
Wash fish pieces 3 times perfectly and drain the water.
2nd step: Merination of fish:
Merination is very important step for a perfect taste of fish. Add the above mentioned ingredients and mix well. You can make changes according to your choice. I love organic fresh homemade spices. So I preferably add them. Place aside for at least 2 hours.
3rd Step: Coating:
If you like coating now it’s time to coat the merinated fish. Mix bread crumbs and flour in a bowl add 1/4 teaspoon of salt and black pepper in dry coating. Place it near to frying pan. Pick fish pieces and coat them.
4th Step: Frying:
It’s time to fry fish now. Add any vegetable oil into pan. Heat it on medium flame. Add fish pieces into heated oil carefully. You may add more items with the gap of one inch. Don’t touch the fish for first 5 to 8 minutes. Then change the side with kitchen tong carefully. Let it cook for 5 to 10 minutes till it gets fresh brown color. Drain extra oil paper towel.
Serving:
Fried and spicy fish is ready now . Serve this dish with any sauce, ketchup, curd as a best Winter snacks. It is also used as a side dish for meal. It also gives good taste with boiled rice. So pick up your favorite choice and enjoy mouth watering delicious fried fish.
Note:
Merination takes time. For that purpose, when new fish is bought. I wash it and merinate. Then I store in refrigerator in a tray putting apart all pieces. When I have to serve , bring outside and fry. This trick saves time and gives perfect taste. You may prepare this dish as a snack item for surprise guests.
Remedy: Fish has hot influence. If you have any health issue regarding stomach then use it in limited quantity. Do not drink milk after eating fish it may cause health problem.
