Ingredients for Tapoica Pearls pudding:
Sago or tapioca pearls 1/2 cup
Water 1 cup
Milk 3 cups
Cardamom chopped 1/2 teaspoon
SugarĀ 1/2 cup or to taste
Salt 1 pinch
Direction to simple tapioca pearls pudding
Step 1
Take dry tapioca pearls. Rinse them 2 to 3 times. If you have more time, you can soak them in normal temperature water for 1 hour. If you have less time rinse it in hot water for 10 to 15 minutes. If you don’t soak then add extra water to cook.
Step 2
Add tapioca pearls and water in a saucepan. Cook it on medium heat. Stir With spoon to avoid sticking on bottom. Add salt, roughly grinded cardamom powder and milk into it. Cook it on medium to low heat half covered with lid.
Step 3
When all grains of sago get soft and transparent. Add sugar and switch off the heat. Keep in mind that to whom you have to serve. Patients and kids like liquid pudding. Adjust according to your choice.
