Simple pancake is an old fashioned food which is forever liked. It can be prepared within 30 minutes with no more effort. It’s ingredients are also used to be available in kitchen so you can prepare this dish as a snack for your kids in no time. I will share with you the simple recipe with easy steps. You can make addition according to your taste.
Ingredients for simple Pancake:
All purpose flour 1 cup
Milk lukewarm 1 cup
Egg 1 big size
Sugar 1 tablespoon preferably powdered
Salt 1 pinch
Vegetable Oil 1/2 tablespoon
Butter or oil for frying 2 to 3 tablespoon
Cardamom essence or powder 1/3 tablespoon
If you like add 1 tablespoon baking powder
You can garnish your pancakes with these options:
Lemon or orange
Or any other ingredients which your family like
Direction to the easy steps of Pancake
Step 1 Collecting:
Collect all ingredients at one place. Sieve the all purpose flour into a bowl. Choose the garnishing items and prepare them according to your choice.
Step 2 mixing:
Now warm the milk. Add salt and sugar in it and mix well. Now take bowl of all purpose flour add baking powder, egg, oil and milk. Mix with a hand blender. Whisk well until there is no lumps. Now cover the bowl with it’s lid. Rest it for 15 minutes.
Step 3 frying simple Pancake:
Take a pan. Add 1 tablespoon of butter or oil and heat it on medium flame. Add 2 tablespoon of batter into frying pan. And spread with spoon well. Cook it on medium heat. When bubbles appear and corners start to brown, change the side with spatula and cook. Repeat the process for remaining batter. Add oil in frying pan when needed. And try to change the side carefully and don’t let it burn. Light brown color is best to see and enhances the taste. Present hot pancake on dining table.
Step 4 garnishing and presenting:
This is the most important step of Pancake. Select the garnishing item like butter, honey, fruit or any other choice. And add your favorite item on warm pancake and place it in hotpot. It will keep your pancake warm otherwise use oven to keep it warm.
You can use any mold like heart or star to give a perfect shape to your pancake. Kids will like this change in pancakes.
If you have to present this pancake simply with no addition then increase sugar ratio. You can add sugar in batter or after cooking eat with sugar.
If your kids don’t like any fruit and you want to feed that one you can use that fruit in pancakes. When bubbles appear on the pancake place that fruit cubes on it it and change the side. This trick will be helpful for you.
