Water 3 to 4 cup
Red lentil 1 cup
Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
Onion 1 medium size chopped
Tomato 1 medium size chopped
Garlic ginger paste 1 tablespoon
Salt 1/2 tablespoon
Red pepper powder 1/3 tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1/3 tablespoon
Spice powder 1/3 Tablespoon
Coriander leaves 1 tablespoon chopped
Fenugreek dried leaves 1 pinch
Direction to the recipe of Red Lentil Soup:
Wash the red lentil.
Take a saucepan. Add 3 to 4 cups of water.
Add all ingredients lentil, oil, onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste, salt, red chili, turmeric powder and spices.
Close the lid and cook on medium heat level for 10 minutes. Then check and thick according to your choice.
If you want to save time you can use instant pot. Steam it for 3 minutes.
