The recipe of Apple Preserve (Murraba) is very easy to make. It will take no more time. You can prepare this flavorful dish in around 30 to 40 minutes.
Ingredients of Apple Preserve:
- Green apple 1 kg
- Sugar 1 kg
- Water 1and half kg
- Cardamom 3 pieces or saffron half table spoon
- Lemon juice 1 tea spoon
- Wash apples.
- Peel them properly.
- Take a saucepan. Add water and boil it.
- Add apple in boiling water. Apple should be fully dipped in water.
- Let the apple boil until it tender.
- Now turn off the stove.
- Take another saucepan.
- Add 1 kg apple water and 1 kg Sugar.
- Add powder of cardamom or saffron.
- Turn on the stove and cook this water until it thickens like a wire.
- Add boiled apple in to the syrup.
Now turn off the stove. The tasty and mouthwatering delicious Apple Preserve or Apple Murraba is ready.
Let it cool.
Serve the apple Preserve( Murraba) in bowl with spoon.
Note: you can adjust quantity of apple according to your serving. Quantity of water and sugar will be equal to apple. one more thing that if you like less quantity of sugar you may reduce it according to your taste.

Store in a sterilized air tight jar. You can place Apple Preserve (Murraba) at room temperature for a week. store it in fridge for long time.
